On October 20, 2018, the 2018 national employee Gas Volleyball Competition supported by China Volleyball Association and hosted by China Enterprise Sports Association opened in Chizhou, Anhui Province. This is the first air volleyball event held by the China Enterprise Sports Association for employees across the country. A total of 20 teams and more than 200 athletes from all walks of life, organs, enterprises and institutions across the country will play 52 games in two days.

Wang Zhengwu, Deputy Secretary General of Chizhou Municipal People's government, made a speech and welcomed air volleyball lovers from all over the country.

Zhang Jiashun, vice president of China Enterprise Sports Association, said that in order to attract and encourage employees from all walks of life to widely participate in air volleyball, the competition is positioned as a mixed group. The association also hopes to promote organs, enterprises and institutions to further enhance cohesion and combat effectiveness and create a healthy and upward atmosphere through the competition. The association is confident that with the active participation and support of all walks of life, the national staff Gas Volleyball Competition will be held year by year and will be better and better.
